Senior Business Analyst

We are currently looking for a Senior Business Analyst to strengthen our team.
Your role
- Responsible for analyzing and documenting business processes and requirements and translating them into functional specifications for development teams.
- Work closely with stakeholders to identify business processes and requirements, and document them using industry-standard techniques.
- Analyze and prioritize requirements, ensuring that they are aligned with business objectives and are technically feasible.
- Translate requirements into functional specifications for development teams, including use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, and end-users to ensure that solutions meet business needs and are delivered on time and within budget.
- Conduct stakeholder meetings and workshops to gather requirements, validate solutions, and communicate project progress.
- Ensure that business objectives are met and solutions are delivered on time and within budget
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk management plans.
- Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices in business analysis and software development and share knowledge with the team.
Your skills
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis, preferably in the oil and gas, waste management, or roadside assistance industries.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and prioritize business requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Experience with industry-standard business analysis techniques, such as use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Experience with agile software development methodologies.
- Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools, such as Monday
- Familiarity with data modeling and database design principles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
Desired skills
- Certifications from IIBA, PMI or other related organizations
- Data Analysis (SQL awareness)
