About the role
As Senior DevOps Engineer at EmDoT, you will be responsible for:
- Design, implement, and manage Azure DevOps pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments.
- Set up and maintain Kubernetes clusters on VMs or use Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Manage Docker container deployments and optimize orchestration strategies.
- Configure and maintain cloud infrastructure on Azure using best practices.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and scaling.
- Monitor cloud costs, security and performance (using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Azure Monitor).
- Ensure security best practices and compliance (SOC2, ISO 27001).
- Troubleshoot and resolve (if applicable) deployment issues, networking problems, and system failures.
Requirements and qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes (managing clusters, Helm charts, networking, scaling).
- Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
- Hands-on experience with Azure services (VMs, Storage, Networking, AKS, App Services).
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
- Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance (SOC2, ISO 27001).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in an agile team.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with GitOps methodologies.
- Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments
