About the role
As Customer Support Engineer at EmDoT, you will be responsible for:
- Providing technical assistance to customers who are experiencing issues with EmDoT’s services and products.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting customer issues following a thoughtful plan of actions.
- Conducting maintenance activities and after-sales support.
- Documenting customer issues and writing knowledge articles.
- Collaborating with the product and engineering teams to communicate customer feedback and implement solutions.
- Automating customer support operations and streamlining support processes.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction and success by providing accurate and prompt responses.
- Participating in on-call rotation.
Requirements and qualifications
To be successful as Customer Support Engineer at EmDoT, you should have:
- A university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of proven experience as Customer Support Engineer.
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Solid experience in scripting languages, such as VBScript, Bash, Python, Perl.
- Strong knowledge in databases, SQL, Cloud technologies (preferably Microsoft Azure), computer networks, Linux, Microsoft Windows Server.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, meet deadlines, and handle multiple cases simultaneously.
- Suavity, curiosity, and a customer-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
